Make Money Online – By Creating Membership Sites

A very smart way to make money online and have a very successful business from home is to create one or more membership sites. This can be extremely profitable, especially if you offer a site that creates members that don’t want to leave, because the information you are giving them is just too valuable.  With a membership site, you have a website that people have to pay a monthly fee or a lump sum fee to be part of.   This creates an ongoing source of income for you, and becomes a residual sort of income.

The trick is to find a site that will have people flocking to join and then stay when they get there.   You can quickly do a google search of membership sites, and you will get an idea of all sorts for pet lovers to sports lovers and craft lovers, and so on.  So think of something that you have knowledge on that you could help others out with.

There are also different kinds of membership sites.  There can be memberships where you are an active host on that membership site and answer people’s emails and support them as they work through the information on the site, or it can be a site where members get an “assignment” in their email inbox and then they need to complete it within a week before the next task comes to them.

The other important thing once you create your membership site is learning how to market it so that people know that it exists. The last thing you want is for it to get lost in the big black hole of cyberspace.
